Yes, the glasses are here! Just a little more work to make sure they fit perfectly, and you're good to go. You may have noticed that our glasses are made with silicone, bendable legs. They're very comfortable but also sturdy. Super relaxed for sports and games with a pair of glasses that stay put. And, very conveniently, you can easily bend them yourself if necessary. Please note: this is a job for parents or carers.
Just a few steps, that's all!
Step 1: Put on your glasses
Put on your glasses so that the middle of the lenses is in front of the middle of your eyes. This is the optical centre and the ideal place for your glasses.
Step 2: Look where the leg is above the ear
The end of the leg should be bent towards the dimple behind the ear for more stability.
If the glasses poke into your ears or the side of your head, bend the part of the legs that goes around the ears outwards. If the glasses are too loose, you can carefully bend the soft part inwards.
Step 3: Do the glasses have nose pads?
If the glasses are placed too high on your face, you need to move the nose pads further apart. If your glasses are too low, you will need to squeeze the nose pads closer together. Try to make sure that you bend both nose pads at the same time or in the same way as you adjust them separately so that your glasses remain symmetrical
Step 4: That's it!
If you can't work it out yourself, mail us for an appointment, and we will be happy to check it out with you. Of course, it is also possible to visit a glasses shop in your neighbourhood, most of them provide this service for a small fee or for a laugh :).
Are your glasses still comfortable?
Signs that you need to adjust your glasses are:
- It sinks in or presses on your nose. It is often a matter of bending it tighter or less tightly around the ear.
- The frame does not rest completely on your ears.
- You feel pressure at the wrong points - at your temple, for example. It is often a question of bending the legs around the ears slightly inwards (tighter) or outwards (looser).
- The pressure is not evenly distributed on the nose pads, please refer to step 3 above.
