After we have delivered the Try Me Box, you have 5 whole days to try on the glasses at home. Take your time, sleep on it - or three - and then send the box back to us.

Yes, please! You send all glasses back to us. After we have received your order, we will have a new pair of glasses made for you with your chosen lenses.

Super simple. Make sure all the pass glasses are in the box we delivered them in. Stick the included return label on them and hand them over to a Post office point near you, or give the package to the Post office parcel delivery person. That's it!

You can only order one box at a time. This way, we can help as many children as possible at the same time. To help you make the right choice, we have described each frame as clearly as possible. Size, material, special features: it's all there. Plus many pictures, to make it even easier to find your favourite.

You do not buy children's glasses to grow. Roughly speaking, you can assume that a frame should not be much wider than the face. But not too small either, so make sure that the glasses are at least as big as the eye sockets. This will prevent your child from looking at the edge of the frame.

All spectacles in our collection have unique ear tips made of bendable, soft material. This allows you to adjust and fine-tune the glasses yourself at any time.

All our glasses are designed by ourselves, especially for children. It is important to us that the glasses are comfortable to wear and that they are super strong. Titanium and acetate are the materials that we feel best meet these requirements. All the frames in our collection have unique ear tips made of bendable, soft material. This allows you to adjust and fine-tune the glasses yourself at any time.

Our spectacle lenses for children are always made of plastic. They are light and extremely safe. They also have an extra hard protective layer to minimise scratching. And they have an anti-reflective layer for quieter vision and greater contrast. Read here which glass is best for your child.

Jar glasses? No way!
The last thing you want is a pair of glasses with thick lenses. At Junior & Junior, we always make sure to select the smallest possible lens to ensure the thinnest possible result.

Tip! For high plus strength, it is best to go for a rounder frame. When the child has a high minimum strength, an acetate (plastic) frame is the best choice because you can hide the slightly thicker rim nicely in it.

Our glasses are made from the finest materials, which can stand up to a lot of wear and tear. But let's face it, kids' glasses can take a lot of beating.
Our tip? Get your child involved in looking after their glasses from day one. Explain how they can take care of their glasses themselves and keep them in good condition. For example, you can tell them that it is better not to lay their glasses down on top of the lenses, as this can easily cause scratches. Do you doubt whether your child needs glasses? Ask your family doctor for a referral to an eye specialist. A good eye measurement by a specialist is crucial for children.

A measurement by an ordinary optician is not possible because children's eyes are perfect at "accommodating"; the ability to focus an image. Measurement is therefore much more difficult than with adults, and an optician has insufficient knowledge. Under 8 years of age, children with eye complaints are normally referred to an orthotist or ophthalmologist. After that, until adolescence, children can also consult an optometrist. Your pupillary distance (PD) is the distance in millimetres between the centre of your right pupil and the centre of your left pupil.
The PD is not always mentioned on your prescription, but without pupillary distance we cannot make your glasses. No problem, you can measure the pupillary distance of your child yourself. You will find this automatically during the ordering process or read on directly via PD Measuring. All you need is a laptop or phone with a camera. Well, and your child, that's handy too ;-)

No problem. With our Superb glasses, you're on the right track anyway. These are extra thinned, so they are less thick and therefore lighter.

We start working for you immediately so that we can deliver your tailor-made glasses to your home as soon as possible. Usually, the glasses are ready for shipment within a few days.

Our glasses are designed to be self-fitting and can be adjusted when needed. Nothing needs to be heated, and the legs can be adjusted several times. Easy with growing children, right? Read all about our unique soft ear tips here.

Yes, new spectacles always take some getting used to. Not only your eyes, but also your face, have to get used to the glasses. It is important to adjust the glasses carefully. Do the temples press against the side of the face, or do they leave red marks on the nose or behind the ears? This is a sign that the glasses do not fit well. In this case, you can easily adjust the glasses yourself.

Apart from that, the higher the power or cylinder, the more intensive the adjustment. You could start by wearing your glasses for a few hours a day, and gradually build up to that. This is not necessary: if it goes well, you can do it for longer. You will accelerate the adjustment process by wearing the glasses as much as possible. On average, the adjustment process to glasses takes between 1 and a maximum of 3 weeks. 

As soon as you have ordered the glasses, our specialists will get to work.
The delivery time of the glasses depends on your glasses' recipe. Glasses with more complex lenses take a bit longer to make than glasses with simple lenses. Please consider a delivery time between 6-9 days.

We will deliver your custom-made glasses to your home. For this, we work together with the Post offices. We will keep you fully informed via e-mail, so keep a close eye on this. We will send you a track & trace code, so you can follow your package.

As we always customise our glasses, there is no legal cooling-off period for our product. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your new glasses, please contact us. We will then work with you to find a good solution.

We now deliver in Belgium as well as in the Netherlands.

Almost all of our frames have special flex springs, which are springs that move with you when you bend them. This allows the glasses to withstand a lot. If something is still bent but not broken, check here for some tips & tricks.

An eye test for children is reimbursed by the health insurance company if you have a referral from your general practitioner, the consultation bureau or the school doctor.
